Relief + RestoreRestorative Yoga techniques go beyond relaxing and resting—this class is supported by blocks, straps, blankets, chairs, and sandbags. With a focus on using specific therapeutic flows and restorative sequencing, this slower class is designed to help you find space, relax deeply, and is the perfect way to end your day. The therapeutic techniques are designed to work with all types of students for overall well-being.
Katonah Yoga®️The purpose of this technique and class is to practice finding center, circumstance, and the space between. Our classes are set up facing in toward the center of the room to establish a sense of community. This environment creates a platform for one to work on personal skills, while participating within a group.
Our Certified Katonah Yoga teachers are experienced to welcome students that are both new to yoga or to Katonah Yoga.
Katonah Yoga® is a syncretic Hatha yoga practice developed by Nevine Michaan over 40 years. She and her teachers incorporate classical Hatha yoga with Taoist theory, geometry, magic, mythology, metaphor, and imagination — in a practical framework designed to potentiate personal and communal well-being.
