The mission of Falls Yoga and Barre is twofold: create a comfortable, inviting space that allows for people of all backgrounds to enjoy. The most important thing for us is to make everyone who walks in the door feel like they are coming home. In order to cultivate this type of welcoming space, we have opted for a less conventional studio setup. Our “front desk” area resembles a “kitchen” feel with a round wood table for you to sip on a cup of chai and chat with us and your fellow practitioners after class. While on the day to day the studio will be providing fitness classes, Falls Yoga and Barre aims to be more than a yoga studio. Don’t worry if you’re not a seasoned yogi or avid barre goer, for our hope is that the community can use the space for things they want, as well. Whether it be a place for local art exhibitions or to have an intimate gathering, we are delighted to hold any event that the studio size allows for. We are so looking forward to seeing you in the studio, please come take a seat at the table soon!
Wake up, Cuyahoga Falls! This class is for our early risers who crave the heat. Sweat it out in the morning and get ready to take on the rest of your day.
This class is for our students who live for the sweet release of hot yoga. Don’t worry though, the infrared panels will provide that perfect breathable heat to maximize the benefits of yoga in a hot room.
Happy Hour Power
Enjoy this hot power yoga session after school, after work, or before you head out for the night!
Mums + Bubs
This class is designed for mummies after having their little ones. Check the live schedule for when you can bring the little babes along, too!
Slow Jams + Slow Burn
Can you hold your crane pose for as long as Tom Petty can guitar solo? In this class, we will slow our flow and really feel the magical burn of each pose, while enjoying music that matches our pace.
Catch this class on your lunch break or if you fancy a midday pick me up! This 45-minute flow is just the boost you need to jumpstart the second half of your day.
Relief + Restore
Restorative Yoga techniques go beyond relaxing and resting—this class is supported by blocks, straps, blankets, chairs, and sandbags. With a focus on using specific therapeutic flows and restorative sequencing, this slower class is designed to help you find space, relax deeply, and is the perfect way to end your day. The therapeutic techniques are designed to work with all types of students for overall well-being.
The purpose of this technique and class is to practice finding center, circumstance, and the space between. Our classes are set up facing in toward the center of the room to establish a sense of community. This environment creates a platform for one to work on personal skills, while participating within a group.
Our Certified Katonah Yoga teachers are experienced to welcome students that are both new to yoga or to Katonah Yoga.
